General Laborer
Position Details
We’re looking for a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our waste management operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment while supporting daily waste and recycling services. This is an entry-level position with high potential for advancement into equipment operation and other roles within Total Disposal.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes incoming waste and recycling material for outbound delivery to various brokers or mills.
- Sorts / segregates recoverable materials from waste stream. Yard maintenance. Truck washing and truck tarping.
Qualifications
- Ability to understand necessary safety procedures and precautions.
- Intermediate knowledge of power equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and heavy equipment.
- Ability to work in varying degrees of temperature outside
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
